Portraiture is a great love of mine, whether it is environmental, artistic, life- style portraiture, or the simple head shot. It is special for me to capture the place and time of ones likeness in all its wonder. I have been inspired by the photographic portraitists; Julia Margaret Cameron, Lord Snowden, Arnold Newman, William McIntosh, Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, and others. To me, Portraiture is part of the historical tradition of our culture and I strive to always rise to its occasion. We are all part of this history as reveal ourselves to the camera.
